The location was convenient for getting around, but the room was dated, the WiFi barely worked and the facilities felt neglected. We had trouble unlocking the room, and a senior staff member or manager immediately blamed us for “messing with the lock.” But the cleaners came in every day while we were out, so they had been the last ones in the room. The staff spoke to us in a condescending way, as if we were children, which was unnecessary. They also took our key and kept it at reception without explaining why. By chance, we found out only later that guests were expected to hand it in whenever they left. No one mentioned this at check-in, which caused even more confusion.

Good value for the price, with everything nearby. The people were very professional. I'd recommend this hotel if you're visiting Paris.

Hôtel Havane was a lovely place to stay during our short Paris visit. The room was clean, cosy and comfortable, with a soft bed and a great shower. Staff were very friendly and ready to help with directions and recommendations. It's in a fantastic spot, near Metro stations, restaurants and shops, and within walking distance of major sights including the Opera and Montmartre. Excellent value for Paris. We'd happily stay again, highly recommended.

We were very disappointed with the room. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned, and the only fan in the room was covered in dust. There was no air conditioning, and the fan was too dirty to use. The beds had sheets but no duvet. The heat in the room was unbearable, so after two hours we decided to leave. For the same price, we found a nicely furnished, clean two-room apartment on Airbnb. I don't recommend this hotel.

A good little hotel near the center, and the price is affordable. The room was small, but nice.
