Milestay-Saint Germain

I was there with my 11-month-old baby, and the stay was perfect. The nearby boulangerie and restaurants were great, and being within walking distance of jardin du luxembourg meant I could easily take the baby out for a morning walk. We loved staying here!

Our family of five spent a week here and found the apartment comfortable, quiet, stylish and conveniently placed. The metro entrance and Friday morning market were right across the street. Having a kitchen made it easy to bring back breakfast pastries from the local boulangerie. The dishwasher detergent was provided, but there was none for the washing machine. After check-out, we left our luggage in the on-site lockers.

We were new to this part of Paris and found lovely local restaurants and patisseries, as well as a supermarket a few minutes away. The Metro is just outside, though we walked to all the main attractions in around 20 minutes. The views from both sides were lovely too. The apartment was spotless, carefully finished and laid out, and just right for our young family, with living space and bedroom options. As holiday home hosts ourselves, we noticed all the helpful details, from coffee pods and dishwasher tablets to shower gel. The linen and towels were up to luxury hotel standards. Communication was instant and really helpful, and leaving our huge suitcases before check-in and again on departure day was simple. It was such a relief to arrive with two tired little kids to a clean, luxurious-feeling place where we could settle in and enjoy the city straight away. We'll definitely be back.

We rented one of the Yuna apartments for six months, with a contract that gave us the option to extend for another five. We gave notice in time that we wanted to stay through the end of the school year, but were told it had already been rented to someone else. The worst part was the way they handled it: rude emails from lawyers and an extremely careless attitude toward us. After talking to our own lawyer, we understood that we had the right to stay, but didn't want to remain somewhere we weren't welcome. We left, and moving in the middle of the school year and urgently finding somewhere new caused a huge amount of stress. There were other problems too. They asked for a deposit, which we believe was illegal, several things in the apartment needed repair or renovation, and they first said we could park bikes, then refused after we had moved in. As soon as problems come up, you're dealing with their lawyers. Don't expect a normal client relationship.
