The people here made us feel cared for, not like just another booking. Their understanding of customer service really stood out, and escaping the dreadful experience we had at MERCURE GARE DE LYON to NOVOTEL GARE LYON felt like a blessing. The staff were friendly, helpful, and supportive throughout what became the best stay in Paris I could have hoped for. Our room was gorgeous, almost like an apartment, with a terrace overlooking a play park and the Gare de Lyon. We loved the space and hated having to leave. Food was superb and service impeccable. There was a KIDSZONE with games and TV, plus the Rainforest Pool, which felt like paradise. NOVOTEL deserves every star and more.

Vincenzo, the barman, was the standout for us. He was professional, kind, and went out of his way to make the four of us feel welcome and enjoy ourselves. That personal touch really added to our stay, and we'd happily return. I was there with three friends, from Friday 13th February to Monday 16th. The hotel was clean and well kept, and the bedrooms were comfortable, so we felt relaxed from the moment we arrived.

Fabienne, who served us in the restaurant, made breakfast feel comfortable each morning. Her name is as lovely as her smile. Tsiky was also so friendly when she welcomed us on our first day and saw us off at checkout. She explained everything we needed to know, and I really appreciated her help. Thank you to both of them.

The pool was a big hit with the kids, and the location made it easy to explore Paris. Staff were very friendly, and the rooms were comfortable. When we arrived, there was a slight strange smell in our room. The team dealt with it professionally and efficiently, and eventually moved us to another room that was perfect. A very pleasant stay.

Lucy helped me print a letter for my next trip, and we had a lovely chat while we waited. She practiced French with me and taught me a few new sentences. Tsiky made check-in smooth, was there whenever we needed her, kept the mini-bar stocked, and even remembered our room number, 209. Nonthida from housekeeping kept the room spotless every day. We never met her, but her work behind the scenes really added to our comfort. The staff made my stay at Novotel Paris Gare de Lyon wonderful. Highly recommended.
