Hotel Soft

Toufic gave us such a warm welcome, and we had a lovely 10-day stay. It’s a friendly little hotel, comfortable and well placed in Paris, with good value for the money.

The parking was easy and felt secure, but be sure to reserve it in advance. We also really liked the hotel’s location. Toufik was the first person we met, and he was friendly and extremely helpful. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks so much!

The room was cramped, and the bathroom layout made little sense: the sink was so large there was barely space for the toilet. The toilet extractor didn’t work, so the room smelled, and although the bedding had been changed, the sheets were stained. Noise also carried between rooms, with disturbances from next door affecting our sleep.

We walked from Gard du Nord to the hotel in about 15 minutes, and the canal is just at the end of the street. Booking direct got us a 25% discount and free breakfast for our 3-day stay. Since I mentioned our anniversary, they also gave us a lovely complimentary upgrade. The quiet room had a bath and shower, safe, fridge, tea and coffee, and a very comfortable bed. Someone is at reception 24 hours a day, and everyone we spoke with was charming and helpful. Breakfast is buffet style, with cheese, meat, pastries, bread, yoghurt, cereal, plus hot options like omelettes and sausages, and eggs you can boil yourself. We’d absolutely stay again.
