Villa Madame

Breakfast stood out during our five days at Hôtel La Villa Madame. The selection was excellent, and the woman making eggs each morning was so kind and friendly that I asked how she cooked them. That personal warmth summed up the hotel's thoughtful, welcoming service. Our room was quiet, spacious by Paris standards, and had a lovely view of a classic Parisian street, a peaceful place to come back to after long days exploring. The Saint-Germain neighborhood is beautiful, walkable, and full of cafes and shops, while feeling safe and comfortable at any hour. It's an ideal base for the city. One small practical drawback is the very small elevator, which usually fits one person with luggage at a time. We found it a minor inconvenience. This intimate, well-run hotel added a lot to the quality of our trip, combining comfort, charm, and attentive service.

The guest areas are beautiful, especially the lounge in the foyer, and the nearby coffee shops and grocery stores are great to have in this truly authentic, non-touristy part of Paris. We didn't choose daily breakfast. We loved our 12 nights at Villa Madame. Our room felt luxurious and cosy, with a quiet, very comfortable bed and beautiful views through windows that opened. The bathroom was spacious by Paris standards and beautifully appointed. It was immaculately cleaned every day. Thanks for making our stay so memorable.

The neighborhood was lovely, with plenty of cafes, restaurants, and shops nearby. We had a wonderful five days at the hotel, with a great atmosphere and super attentive staff. Our room was immaculate, with a comfortable bed, nice amenities, and a big bathroom. We'll definitely be back.

The location and charm of La Villa Madame are still appealing, but the maintenance and uneven service made this stay fall short for us. We were there for seven nights, May 9-16, 2026, and paid about €400 per night. For three of those nights, we couldn't properly use the shower. It clogged on arrival and filled to the brim within 1-2 minutes. We reported it right away. The front desk acknowledged the issue, but it still wasn't fixed by the second night. After we raised it again, we were told it would be handled on day three. It was eventually fixed and worked for a few days, then became unusable again on our final night. One front desk interaction also felt dismissive, as if the problem was being downplayed. This was particularly disappointing because we'd chosen the hotel after a wonderful stay there several years ago. We appreciate that one night was refunded, but that doesn't fully make up for the disruption over nearly half our visit.
