The rooms feel old and dated. The hotel is high up in the mountains, and when it snows the road is difficult to get onto because it isn’t plowed until 10 am. Breakfast and dinner were the same each day, which got boring after two or three days. I guess the price is fair for the quality.

There’s plenty of parking, and the winding road up to the hotel is great on a motorbike. The hotel is quiet and has a nice atmosphere. Staff are very friendly, and breakfast is tasty with a good choice of food.

There was only one rubbish bag for the whole six-night stay, and no mop or bucket in the room. We also didn’t get enough toiletries for six nights.

We’re a family of four with a dog, and the price was very good, especially with the meal package. It’s not luxury, but the rooms are clean and good, and the friendly, down-to-earth family atmosphere was refreshing. There’s a kid-friendly ski resort just a five-minute drive away, with good snowshoeing and incredible Mont Blanc views. Bigger ski areas are also not far. We’ll be back!

For the time of year, the price was very good. Our room faced north, while the south-facing rooms have a stunning view. The room was old but had everything and had seen some updates. There was a smell of smoke in it. We knew the place was fully booked, otherwise we’d have asked to switch rooms, and I’m sure the friendly staff would have tried their best to sort it out.
