Appart'City Confort Perpignan Centre Gare

Right outside the station, with handy bus and train connections for getting around. It’s a very clean, budget-friendly place, and it felt more like a hotel than an apartment. The staff were really friendly. There’s a laundry service, vending machines, and coffee for 1/2 euro, which was nice. A clean, affordable stay with good transport links.

We arrived on April 17th during our trip to Spain and expected a pleasant stay based on the Google reviews. Instead, room 312 was appallingly dirty. The carpet was so filthy I couldn’t tell what color it had originally been, the bathroom was covered in mold, and the kitchen floor was extremely sticky. Charging a $250 deposit for a room in that condition is outrageous. We were already exhausted and unable to continue to our final destination in Spain, or we would have left immediately. Going outside to smoke also meant being harassed by people asking for money or cigarettes, which added to our frustration. I strongly suggest looking for better options in the area.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room felt clean and fresh. I slept really well in the comfortable bed. Having a fridge made it handy to use the kitchen for breakfast. I would have liked a kettle for an infusion tea. I don’t drink coffee and didn’t want to heat water in the machine in case it tasted of coffee. That was the only downside. Thanks for a good night’s stay.

Getting around was easy: the station is across the street, the city center is walkable, and the mountains are just an hour away by car. Breakfast at 12.9€ per person felt too expensive for what you get. I would have given the stay 4 stars if the furniture changes on our departure day hadn’t stretched the checkout arrangements by almost an hour because of poor organization.
