Au Coeur de Perpignan

We were five people using two apartments, and the location worked really well for us. It’s 20 minutes from the train station and only a short walk to bars and restaurants. The place was clean and had everything we needed. The hosts were easy to reach and quick to answer our questions. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

We were very happy with our stay. The flat was spacious, with large beds and a good sofa, and it was clean and tidy when we arrived. The instructions for entering and leaving the building were clear. The hosts were easy to contact and helpful. Thank you!

Julien, the owner's concierge service, was quick to respond and very helpful. We spent three days there, two nights, and really enjoyed the place. There are two proper bedrooms with comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, a nice bathroom, and a bright living room. The apartment is ideally placed in the historique center of Perpignan, close to all the city highlights. We came for the Photojournalisme exhibition, and each exposition was a 10-minute walk away. A five-star location.

The flat was lovely, but the neighborhood was noisy, with people shouting insults at each other. We couldn’t open the windows, and the atmosphere gave us a sense of insecurity. The steep stairs up to the second floor were another downside. The area is OK for 2 or 3 people maximum. There wasn’t much thought given to practical details. More towel hooks and bins in the bedrooms would help, and guests could use a few more supplies. One toilet roll and 2 coffee capsules weren’t enough. The flimsy coffee tables seemed easy to break, as did the towel rail. A little more thought would be appreciated. The cleaning charge of 65€ on top for 3 nights was too much given how little was provided. A bottle of wine or some chocolates, as I’ve seen elsewhere, would be a lovely gesture and create a good feeling toward the hosts. One bathroom washbasin wasn’t working. We pointed it out at the start of the stay, but nobody apologized. The lack of attention left us disappointed.
