Le Petit Hotel De Pianottoli Caldarello

We only booked one night at the end of our Corsica trip because we needed somewhere close to Figari airport for an early flight. It was so lovely that I wish we'd stayed several nights. The views of the mountains are beautiful, and the place is immaculate, modern, and has a fresh smell throughout. Our room's air conditioning worked very well, and it had an electric external shutter. The hotel is set back from the main road, so it stays very quiet. The man at reception was friendly and check-in was easy. They gave us a remote for the electric gate in case we went out and returned late. We spent the evening in Bonifacio, a short drive away. I'd definitely recommend it.

The next morning's breakfast was more than perfect, and we were sorry we couldn't stay another night. For our next trip to Corsica, this is where we'll stay. We had a very warm welcome. After we waited 20 minutes at the gate, the woman decided to upgrade us, which made us very happy. The room won us over right away: refined decor, all the amenities we needed, an incredibly comfortable bed, and impeccable cleanliness. I'm very particular about that, and it's rare to find a place this good. We also loved having the pool to ourselves in a small group and the private terrace. With no children allowed, it was a genuinely relaxing place to unwind.

Peaceful, charming, and surrounded by nature, it felt like a real change of scenery. The pool water was heated, and we were welcomed with a lovely quality tea. Since our flight was very early, we picked up a generous homemade breakfast for two the night before in a wicker picnic basket. At dawn, with the house still asleep, we enjoyed it beside the pool in that natural setting. A memorable short stay, simple in its aims but with five-star service. Katherine & Williams.

The villa has an unusual but pleasant setup, with three bedrooms and a shared pool. No children are allowed, which makes it wonderfully peaceful. We were welcomed very warmly, and the staff were kind and available throughout our two-night stay. Our standard room was very clean and quiet, just right for a bit of rest. Bonifacio is about 20 minutes away. Breakfast was generous, with high-quality products. Thanks again for the stay.
