Hôtel de Paris

It's an old-fashioned hotel, in a central spot. A bit dated, but clean.

We came on May 9th, during Oktoberfest, which was fantastic and close by. The new owners gave us a warm welcome and were attentive throughout our one-night stay. Our room was spacious, and breakfast was generous. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable, Mr. Olivier Cote.

The pool's supposed counter-current feature didn't work, unless we paid extra. Breakfast was €10 on the bill, though it was advertised at €7, and all we got was a croissant and a slice of bread with cheese. The room was dirty, with pubic hair in the sheets, and the welcome at reception was poor. We were meant to pay €89 for two people, but the receptionist tried to charge €102 because there was a second bed in the room, without telling us in advance. After seeing that we were unhappy, he agreed to the original €89. I absolutely don't recommend this place.

There could be a lot of potential here with a good owner, but we got a very unpleasant welcome from an unfriendly man, and had to pay in advance. The bed was ruined, the bathroom looked like it was from the '70s, and the Wi-Fi code didn't work, so it seemed the internet bill hadn't been paid. In short, avoid it. We paid €102 with breakfast, but given the state of the room it should cost €40.
