The hotel is beautifully cared for, and we had a wonderful time at Le Clos du Colombier in Pommard. Its setting among the vineyards is lovely, with charming wine caves nearby. Nights were very peaceful, and the air conditioning made the room comfortable in warm weather. From our junior suite window we could see the winery and pool. The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and pillows and a clean, well-kept bathroom. The owner was exceptionally welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was simple but delicious, just right to start the day. We also ate dinner at the hotel, which was excellent and reasonably priced, with a great wine selection to enjoy alongside it. There’s plenty to do nearby, including winery visits, running, and cycling, which we did. Or you can relax by the spotless pool, which had refreshingly little chlorine. We can't wait to return, and highly recommend it for a peaceful break in Burgundy's wine country.

The owners were incredibly kind and attentive when we arrived for our June birthday weekend, and they let us put our things in the room before lunch since it had just been prepared. That flexibility was especially helpful with our motorbike and limited storage. We stayed in the family room overlooking the vineyard, and it was exceptional and very comfortable. The wide 180 cm bed, soft sheets, and plenty of pillows made for a restful night. The whole place is decorated with care down to the little details. I kept telling the owners how much I liked their taste. We enjoyed the free pool, and even the towels and bathrobes felt softer than usual. There's also a spa with a Scottish made whirlpool and sauna for an extra 22€ per person, with a minimum of two people. Breakfast was 20€/person, tasty and locally sourced, served in the inside garden. Dinner was also good quality and well priced. We loved our stay and are already looking forward to coming back. Just keep in mind that all the extras add up when planning your weekend budget. Maybe breakfast could be included in the room price if most guests get it anyway. See you soon!

The rooms were peaceful and comfortable, and the meals were delicious. The owners were warm and friendly, and we really enjoyed chatting with them. The staff were thoughtful and attentive, and the owners also helped with suggestions for places to visit and arranging taxis.

We were sorry to leave this lovely little bit of small-town France, and hope to return. The B&B and Pommard itself were both a delight, with quaint, lovely rooms and grounds. The owner was pleasant and went out of the way to help us. Breakfast was delicious and sent us off to Lyon on a happy note.

While studying wine at the nearby Chateau de Pommard, I was lucky to stay at the Clos Du Colombier. It made a wonderful base for breathing in Burgundy's fresh air and exploring the wine region. The service, rooms, and amenities were all top quality, and the owners and staff couldn't have been more gracious or helpful. Thank you Veronique, Helen, and Philipe for making it feel warm, comfortable, and like home. I'll definitely return!
