The food itself was really nice, but the vegetarian main we requested was fries, baked potatoes, and a potato pie. It was just okay. I guess we expected a bit more nutritional value.

The hotel doesn't look like much from the outside, though the rooms are spotless and clearly well cared for. The bedding felt a little too soft for me, and the parking lot is locked at night. The food was good, if nothing remarkable, with traditional dishes prepared very well by young, friendly kitchen staff. It was all at a very reasonable price. I'd happily stay there again if I were back in the area.

The €14.80 set menu included everything, wine too. My Auvergne salad had far too much vinaigrette, though the dish itself was decent, so I'd put it at 2.5 out of 5. The place is a bit run-down, like a typical roadside diner, and I was seated badly by a sliding window that let cold air in. It's a shame the name doesn't match the restaurant's character.

The food was decent for the price, but the waitress made lunch a bad experience. I'm a regular, yet she didn't greet us at all. She practically served the aperitif onto my lap, and it felt like she would have brought the whole meal out at once if she could. I felt like I was a complete bother to her. This will definitely be my last visit, and next time we'll eat somewhere else. If she finds human interaction difficult, she can go back to breaking rocks abroad... Happy holidays anyway!
