The kitchen was great, and breakfast came with the price. There’s a little terrasse off the kitchen where we could eat while looking out over the river. We only chose this place at the last minute because our campground had no shade on a scorching day. Reception was still closed for a few hours, but the staff kindly kept our panniers for us. They were so helpful and even let us dry our tent overnight in a meeting room. Many thanks to everyone at this lovely hostel!

Youth hostels aren’t just for young people! I had a really nice three-day break here with a few other older guests. The location is lovely and central, and the staff were great. My room was very hot because it was up in the roof, but otherwise I couldn’t fault the place.

The location is lovely, right where the Blavet meets the Nante-Brest canal. Reception was friendly, and check-in felt clean and efficient. I do wish they supplied hand soap and a towel, so guests wouldn’t have to dry off with a sheet after showering. It comes across as a pretty cheap cutback.
