We never got the wlan working during our stay, and the room wasn't cleaned properly. The balcony looked as though nobody had cleaned it at all. There was a very strong cigarette smell in the room, but the staff wouldn't do anything about it, and we felt quite unsafe around the hotel. From the outside, the building looks like it's about to fall apart. I'd recommend people look elsewhere, since there are much better choices in this price range.

Even a free breakfast wasn't useful when all I needed was a little sleep after a night shift. There was drilling on several sides from 0900, and after I explained I'd worked nights, they offered breakfast. I tried again to explain that I'd only just returned at 0600 while they were making breakfast, and wanted to rest instead. The noise didn't stop there: a disco outside and strange plumbing sounds kept things loud, even though some things weren't working. My room was 32 degrees, but I couldn't control the heating or air conditioning myself. They said air conditioning wouldn't be switched on until after 15th of may. The place is old, dirty and looks like it's falling apart. The pool was just frogs under a cover. I booked 5 days and left on day 2, with no refund. It's cheap, but not worth it. This hotel is a nightmare.

The staff and responsable were really kind. The rooms and appartments can work well for families, though sharing with friends is awkward because there's no privacy. It's a quiet neighborhood and a nice place to stay on holiday if you want to be near Marseille. The train takes about 40min, so you can visit the city and come back to sleep somewhere peaceful. For young people looking for nightlife, the village is pretty limited, but Carry la Rouet is nearby, with nice pubs and a casino.

The staff are friendly, breakfast is good each morning, and the hotel feels very comfortable. The rooms have also been refurbished recently.
