Hôtel Le Marina

If you like cats, you’ll love this hotel. The views from the rooms, terrace, and pool are amazing, and the staff are warm, welcoming, and very service-minded. It’s a charming place in a sublime location.

This place needs a serious refurbishment. The room’s main lights didn’t work, and the A/C remote was damaged so we couldn’t read the screen. The bathroom is dated and needs a new shower and ventilation. The toilet could do with ventilation too. Breakfast was just bread and jam with cold coffee. Don’t make that mistake, there are nearby places where you can get a good breakfast.

The room was very clean, though dated, and we loved the view and little balcony. Parking is free and there’s plenty of it, but getting there is tough because the road is steep. Wi-Fi was slow, the pool is very deep, and the toilet and sink aren’t in the same room. There’s no fridge, and the trash bin is small. The bathtub-shower was the biggest problem. I wear size 40 shoes and couldn’t stand in the tub with my feet side by side because it’s so narrow.

The rooms are standard but clean, and they have air conditioning. The staff were professional, and breakfast was the typical French kind. It’s a nicely located hotel, only a few minutes’ walk from the port area, with excellent views of the nearby mountains and sea.
