The owners were so kind when we arrived late with our picnic, setting the terrace table for us. In the morning we walked down to the river, and spotted the underground tunnel. The chateau is beautiful, the rooms amazing, and breakfast was lovely too. Wish we could've stayed longer.

Paul and his family made us feel right at home, they’re kind and funny. The setting is breathtaking, and the whole place feels like stepping into a 19th-century poem. Breakfast was fit for a royal house. Truly magical. I can't wait to come back and stay longer.

We chose the “best room” for our honeymoon, but its ceiling was in poor condition. Worse, the owner was rude and dishonest, and a thoroughly unpleasant host. My young wife was very disappointed. What was meant to be a dream night has become an unpleasant memory.

The grounds are lovely, and the hosts were very helpful. It’s a charming old building, with modern plumbing that was very welcome. Monet’s garden is just a 10-minute drive away.

Breakfast was delicious and the host was lovely. We stayed on August 15, 2018, and would happily come again.
