The rooms are a little basic, but clean, and the staff are delightful. This lovely little hotel sits right on the water. It also has a really good restaurant.

The view was very nice, but we found the prices high for the food we got. The coppa slice was 2 cm thick, and the cheese wasn't exceptional either. The waiter kindly offered to make a mixed ham and cheese plate, since they only sell those separately, but then charged each item separately, which didn't feel very nice. The wine was fine, not over the top, though overpriced again. We paid 80€ for three glasses of wine, a mixed ham and cheese plate, a bottle of still water, and stuffed truffled ham, just three small pieces. Judge for yourself. It used to be a one-star Michelin restaurant a couple of years ago. Maybe we went on the wrong day, I don't know.

I had a nice view from the room and direct access to the beach, and the location was nice too. Unfortunately, I barely slept because the nearby bar played very loud music until 3 in the morning.

I was there in 2005 after 48 hours of sailing, in the middle of the night. I still remember the food and service as a lifetime experience. I can't find the words to describe them.
