The rooms are large and clean, with a tea and coffee machine and water bottles in the minibar. Breakfast was nice, with fresh juices and great bread, especially the raisin loaf. Staff were polite and helpful, and the setting felt secure. The hotel is well placed on La defense, near the metro, Westfield mall, and offices. There’s an extra elevator linking to the lower level of La defense, so you don’t have to carry luggage up stairs after a long day at the office. Great stay.

I don’t know who signed off on the official five-star rating, but this place doesn’t feel like a five-star hotel. I’ve stayed in better three- and four-star hotels, as well as other five-star places. It was extremely underwhelming, and the online photos make the rooms and lobby look brighter and cleaner than they are. In reality it’s dark, dirty, and almost depressing. One of the two elevators was out of service. The working one was slow and janky, and looked like it could break down soon. The lobby was dim and dingy. Carpets in the common areas and the room looked old and stained. I booked a junior suite, but there was barely any good lighting, and the bed was a queen, not the king listed in the room details. It was only slightly bigger than a double, or full-size, bed. Furniture was chipped all over, including the glass shelves by the coffee machine and in the bathroom. The flooring was disgraceful and needed a deep steam clean or replacement. The bathroom also wasn’t clean enough for a five-star hotel. There was blackish-brown residue under the inner lip of the toilet bowl. The front desk staff were kind, and this isn’t their fault. Management and cleaning are the problem, and there should be quality control. I meant to take photos, but my partner and I were so ready to leave that we forgot. This used to be a Sofitel. It was renovated in 2020 when it changed from Sofitel to NEST, then got five stars in 2022. It’s 2025 and looks terrible. The renovation clearly didn’t hold up. If it looks like this after five years, they may need to shut it down and try again. If you need to stay in the area, just go to Puteaux at the Adagio Aparthotel instead.

It’s just outside central Paris, but metro line 1 gives you a good connection. The area is more business-focused, though weekend prices are acceptable. It’s also convenient if you’re arriving by car, with paid parking options nearby. The room and breakfast were okay, but the room wasn’t cleaned even though I asked.

I’m writing on behalf of my husband, who is a public figure, to warn people about our very disappointing experience. Communication was poor from the start, and the staff were rude and unhelpful. The main reason I booked was the listed facilities, but the parking information was misleading. The hotel advertises its own parking, yet there is none at the property. They sent me to a nearby paid lot, but it couldn’t fit my husband’s larger vehicle. The hotel was also extremely difficult to find, tucked behind other buildings. After I tried repeatedly by phone and email to sort out parking, the only advice I got was to “look for a spot on the street,” which was unrealistic and impossible in that area. We never stayed, ate there, or used any facilities, but the hotel still charged my account in full as though we had used the services. I found the experience misleading, unprofessional, and dishonest. If you want to avoid stress and feeling taken advantage of, don’t book here.
