Camping Les Vignes

The owners were incredibly friendly and patient, and the site is close to town. It’s a simple, clean, welcoming place, quiet and relaxing, with its own sandy river beach and a nice bar. There isn’t loads going on, unless you count karaoke, but that suited the peaceful feel.

There’s a lot for young families here, from the river beach and tennis court to the bouncy castle, games room, bar, restaurant, pool, and even bookable swimming lessons. Most pitches have plenty of shade, and it stays quiet at night and in the morning. It’s a little hidden gem and good value, though not the place for nightlife.

We had a lovely dinner on our last evening, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. We stayed in our caravan on a lovely pitch beside the Lot river. The site is in a great position, with its own beach by the bar and restaurant.

So good to see the Thierry-feeling back again 😍😍😍 The campsite is back to its old standards after the owners who were there from 2017 until now messed things up badly, sadly. It’s very clean again, and the dinner parties with music and kids’ entertainment have returned. Great to be back!!
