Lavender fields are nearby, and there’s a lake and gorge for water activities. The hotel has a lovely Provençal feel throughout, and the old building is really pleasing to look at. We enjoyed the great breakfast, the large enough pool, and the free parking. The restaurant food was exceptional, with exquisite drinks, and the location and welcome were lovely. English was no problem at all. Fully recommend it.

The owners and managers were so friendly. The owner even got my daughter an ice cream when she didn’t like the regular dessert (yes, she’s spoiled :-)). Our room was great and had air conditioning, and the food was excellent. WiFi could be much better, and the pool area didn’t feel inviting. Since you can’t order drinks during the day, a small fridge in the room might help, though I understand that’s part of the business model.

The welcome was warm and the service was quick. We had the squid and truffle gnocchi, both exquisite and a real pleasure to eat. Such a lovely place, strongly recommended!

We didn’t stay at the hotel, just stopped for lunch on the terrace after hiking the nearby Verdon Gorge. We arrived just ahead of the crowds and were lucky to get a table without a reservation. The waitresses were very polite and all spoke English. The terrace was pleasant and shady, and our food was full of flavour: slow-cooked pork with frites, plus a nice salad with baked goat cheese and hummus. I’d definitely consider returning to stay at the hotel.

The food was beautiful, elegant but with that feel of Grandma’s cousine. Service was attentive and relaxed, and we had a lovely dinner in a beautiful place. Worth a pit stop if you’re passing by.
