Even the rooms facing the parking area have a nice outlook over the pool and pine trees, with charming swings, though I’d choose the room type carefully. We spent just a few days at L’Escalet, but it felt like pure euphoria. The setting is so peaceful, with umbrella-shaped pines, rosemary in the air, a breeze, and a beautiful view to wake up to. The pool was pleasantly heated, and the views from it were dreamy. The owners and staff were genuinely warm, from reception to the gentleman at breakfast. Everyone paid attention to the details and made us feel cared for. We were surprised by some of the negative reviews we’d read beforehand. Maybe they’re outdated from before the renovation, or maybe they’re fake noise from competitors. We can’t understand a rating below five stars. One thing to keep in mind is the weather. When it rains, the outdoor breakfast loses some of its magic, but that’s nature, not the hotel’s fault. Thanks for a beautiful stay. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

I’m so glad I found this lovely hotel for my trip to southern France. Everything was great: the place was beautifully designed, clean, and very well maintained, the staff were kind and helpful, and the area around it was beautiful. I’d recommend it very much!

The rooms were genuinely clean and tastefully furnished, and there are plenty of chargers for cars, which is a plus. But the gap between what we paid and what we got was huge. Around 700 Euros for a cellar hole is incredible. You can also see into every room from the footpath around the accommodation, so guests’ activities are visible. For our room, I’d give it ** overall, despite the good points.

The room was clean, the cleaners were friendly, and reception staff were welcoming and helpful. There’s a nice pool and plenty of convenient parking. The air conditioning worked well and the rooms stayed cool. The location is good, though I’d recommend renting a car. Ubers cost €30-40 one way to Saint-Tropez or other places. Be careful with the room you book. Some face the car park, and we were first offered one with that view, which felt unacceptable at €300+ a night. Thankfully, we switched to a room at the back. The rooms are tiny, even smaller than they look in the photos, so upgrade if you can. Restaurant staff seemed standoffish and inattentive, and we had to keep waiting to get any attention. For the high price, the daybeds were filthy with stains and dirt, and the towels were gross. The hotel should consider covers that can be removed and washed each day. It was decent, but overpriced given these issues. Manage your expectations.

The pool area was our favourite part of the hotel, and we spent much of our time there when we weren’t out exploring. My wife and I stayed in July and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The hotel is cute, quiet, and perfectly located. We had our own vehicle, so getting around was easy. Nothing was more than 20 minutes away, which felt very manageable to us. The rooms were nice and well kept, and the staff looked after us so well. Mufasa especially catered to our every need and elevated the trip with his first-class service. We’d already planned nearly all our meals from blogs and Google reviews, but Mustafa took time to suggest places he knew we’d like even more and made reservations for us. He was right about everything, and we were so glad to have him help shape our time in Ramatuelle and Saint Tropez. We’d definitely stay again and recommend it to others!
