The staff were helpful and very friendly. There's no parking at the hotel, but public parking is nearby. There's no lift either, which is a problem if you're hauling heavy bags up to a fourth-floor room. The location works really well for getting around the city.

Our family room came with just one bath towel, which was a nuisance, and the breakfast didn't impress me. At 9,50€, the selection was small: bread, jam, cheese, yogurt and coffee, with few lactose-free or vegan choices. Still, the room was spacious and the location near Reims cathedral was excellent. The place has a sweet mom-and-pop feel, though the room could use a little TLC. We were on the third floor with no elevator, so it's a climb, especially if you're carrying much luggage.

We could see the Cathedral from our window, and the Christmas market was still open, which was a nice bonus. We picked the hotel for its location after leaving Paris that morning, since my husband hadn't slept much and we put off driving. There are stairs and no elevator, and the room, especially the bathroom, is very small. At 75€ for the room plus 20€ for breakfast, it worked for one night. We were only there to sleep, so the size didn't bother us much. This one's all about being right there.

Looking out at the Cathedral was quite something, and the bed was comfortable with a large, modern shower and WC. Check-in was easy, and the staff helped with the luggage and explained where to park. The hotel is old and a bit run down, but it felt like stepping back in time. We didn't try the restaurant for dinner or petite dejuner. I'd go back. Check out Cultur Cafe next door!
