We had a lovely, romantic anniversary dinner here last night. The restaurant serves traditional French food, with plenty of fresh seafood and menu options that are affordable. The owner who looked after us was adorable, and gave us a great wine recommendation. The meal was solid and delicious, and the view was to die for. Definitely worth a visit!

The reviews for Domaine De Kerstinec Kerland are mixed, and that tells you quite a bit. The housekeepers have looked after the place for years with real devotion, keeping it up to the standards and expectations as they've changed. Still, the facilities are quite close to their original setup, so the venue is on the verge of feeling vintage. The view is a plain lawn and a lake. It's less fancy than the seaside Bretagne people know, but gives you a glimpse of the inland countryside, a side of Bretagne known mostly to locals, Bretagne lovers, and GR walkers. If that's not your thing, walk away. If it is, you'll have a great stay. Send my regards to the landlord.

Breakfast was offered free at the end of our stay, and they did a full cleaning after I reported the room's condition. But those gestures don't make up for the problems, which need more attention and professionalism. The decor may be dated in a charming way, but there was an unsanitary mess around the windows, mold in the corners, and the window frame was so damaged that several slugs got into the room. Breakfast brought to the room also included cheeses dated February 3, 2026, though it was served on February 20th. Even after the cleaning, three more slugs appeared in the room that evening.
