The breakfast was the same each morning, but still pretty good: eggs, bacon, sausage, cheese, meat, fruit, croissants, and a coffee machine that makes a macchiato I love. Lunch was okay, too. The bar’s hamburgers were great, though €18 for a burger and a small basket of fries felt steep. There aren’t any restaurants open in or around the hotel on Sundays, but the bar opens at 4 pm. The brochure I saw said Paris, France, which is misleading because the hotel isn’t in Paris. A car to the train station cost me 75 euros, while the taxi back was only 48. The rooms are a bit run down, and most bathrooms don’t work very well. My TV seemed to have nothing but news channels.

Getting into the city wasn’t convenient for me. The bus, train, and other transport all seemed far away, and the first night I asked reception to book a taxi. It cost 75 euros to get to the Eiffel Tower area. I’d suggest using Uber, Bolt, or another app that can find cheaper fares. This hotel makes sense if you’re not trying to visit the city.

The one downside was the airport shuttle timetable. It stops before noon and doesn’t start again until after 5 pm, and because it runs at set times, missing it can mean a one-hour wait or paying for a taxi. We stayed for a week and found the rooms comfortable, with good beds and pillows and an easy-to-like room temperature. The windows looked out over the surroundings, the hotel felt safe, and you need a room key to use the elevators. I liked the personalized welcome message on the TV. There are also meeting rooms and a bar on site. The pool is a good size and not too deep, and the jacuzzi was warm and relaxing. Both were well maintained, with safety rules posted nearby. We also found the breakfast buffet delicious and varied, with cheeses, charcuterie, yogurt, fruit, vegetables, rice, sausage, bacon, pastries, croissants, viennoiseries, coffee, tea, and orange and apple juice. Booking breakfast with the room was good value. The staff were helpful and professional from the first day, and many were friendly and caring. Malik and Matthew were especially welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive, and made each meal pleasant. Their service throughout our stay was truly five-star, and we’d recommend the hotel.

We got a fair member rate, about €67, but were surprised by a bed tax of €8 per person per night. There are very few free shuttles, and none in the afternoon. The rooms are big and very clean, with old-style furniture, but fine for the price.
