The hosts were lovely and keen to help, though they speak little English. We had a comfortable bed in a small room, a separate private bathroom, and reasonable Wi-Fi. We left too early for breakfast, but they offered us something to take away. Being in the town centre means some noise at night. Street parking is limited, though there’s a public car park around the corner.

This is a genuinely peaceful, welcoming gîte, and Thierry and Sophie are such kind, charming hosts. They know Saint-Aubain-sur-Mer and the surrounding area well and can suggest good places to see around Normandy. Sophie and Thierry’s kindness won us over, as did Jerry, the little cat who was around during our visit. I can’t remember the other little cat’s name. A little place well worth discovering. The village and beach are very easy to reach. Sophie and Thierry made us feel welcome and were warm and attentive, which made for a very pleasant stay.

The room is right by the sea, and breakfast was lovely, especially the homemade pancakes. Sophie and Thierry are the best. Thanks from Cécilia and Romain.

Everything is close by, and it’s a great location. Sophie and Thierry gave us a warm welcome and were always ready to help. Breakfast was generous, and our four-legged friends were welcome too.
