H4 Wyndham Paris Pleyel

The room was beautiful, clean, and well designed, and the view was a real highlight. We felt welcome from the start, and Damia was so warm and friendly. She was professional and helpful with all our requests and questions. You can tell she really cares about the guests. We had a lovely stay, with great service and atmosphere, and would happily return. Highly recommended!

The rooftop Sky Bar was a highlight and is definitely worth a visit. The ground-floor restaurant is highly recommended too, and the breakfast selection was excellent. Everyone on the team was friendly, and the modern rooms were well maintained. It takes about 30 minutes to reach central Paris in the evening, but taxis are easy to find right outside. I had a great stay at the H4 Hotel in St. Denis. Skyline goals: waking up between Tour d‘Eiffel, Montmartre, and Père Lachaise.

We spent five days here and enjoyed our stay, even though there were a few things that could be better. The two nearby metro stations are a plus, and both are useful connections even if the hotel is a little far from the centre. The station at the Saint Denis pleyel was large, bright, and modern. Breakfast was tasty, like a normal hotel brunch. There was a big buffet, with something for pretty much everyone. The croissants were freshly baked sometimes and were delicious, soft and melting on the tongue. Our room was spacious enough for two people, with a pretty view. The shower and sink were right beside the bed, but that wasn’t really a problem. The beds were big and comfortable. The outside and inside of the windows were very dirty, though, and the same handprints were still on the glass when we checked in. The bed decor was noticeably dirty, and I already know hotels often don’t clean it. Fluff stuck to the sheets because the fabric was really sticky. There were water bottles with metal caps in the room, but no opener. We were welcomed in a friendly way. We weren’t asked for a deposit, but there was a city tax charged per day, totaling 125€. The man at the counter said this was just being frozen and nothing more. At checkout, though, I got an invoice that said 78€ for the beds. I didn’t have time to ask questions because we had to hurry to the taxi. I also would have liked more explanation from the staff. They didn’t tell us where breakfast was, or about the pool or gym. I travel a lot and am used to everything being explained at check-in. We’d still come back.

The staff were very friendly, and there are nice breakfast places near the hotel. The location worked well generally, but not for our particular trip. The metro is only five minutes away, and central Paris is 20 to 30 minutes away. Definitely recommend.
