The food was carefully prepared, with lovely presentation and flavors that really delivered. Everything felt refined without being fussy, and the portions were generous for the price. From the moment we arrived, the family-run team looked after us in a warm, easygoing way. They also explained the menu clearly and patiently, which we especially appreciated as English-speaking guests. A memorable meal, and one I’d happily recommend.

We were a large group looking for lunch at 2:30, and around ten places had already turned us away. This restaurant made room for us, and it turned out to be a great bit of luck. Everything was homemade, and every person in our group enjoyed their meal. The service was warm and caring too, with time taken to explain the dishes. Such a nice surprise, absolutely recommended.

The food was good, though the portions felt small and the prices were high.

The main course was disappointing and overpriced, and the wine cost too much as well. The starter, on the other hand, was good and fairly priced. My wife and I have shared a Cafe Gourmand every night for ten days, and this one was only average. Three stars feels more than fair to me. Maybe the restaurants along the harbourfront need to raise their game a little.

The staff's service was impeccable, which really made the place stand out. Dinner is exceptional, and breakfast was a highlight too, especially the fresh orange juice and fragrant coffee.
