The bike tour and in house chefs table were the best parts of our trip, both truly fantastic. We stayed in the three bedroom villa and were very happy with the comfort and amenities. Jean Michel, our host, is a real gentleman with a genuine passion for wine and hospitality. Everything was excellent from beginning to end, and we’d love to return to this wonderful chateau.

We got to taste about 8 different wines, and they were delicious. Château la Renommée also has bottles for sale, which made for a perfect souvenir. The English language tour was educational and interesting, and the whole visit exceeded what we expected. One of our favorite stops in Saint Emilion!

Jean-Michel guided our group of 9 friends through the vineyards and chateaux. It was beautiful, fun, and genuinely interesting, with lots to share about the region. Thanks so much for the experience. I highly recommend both the tour and his wine!

The wines ranged quite a bit in price, but even the cheaper ones were great, and I’m no connoisseur. Jean-Michel was a really friendly, informative host. I had a fantastic tour with two Australian friends.

We stopped in after spotting one of the open castles on a pamphlet from the Office du Tourisme, with no expectations, and the visit would have exceeded them anyway. Jean-Michel gave us a free tour of the winery himself. Our small group of four spent more than two hours with him as we walked around the property and heard lots about winemaking in St Emilion. You can tell it’s his passion. We tasted 9 very different wines, all excellent. We bought a couple to drink later and had a case sent back to our home in NYC. He also offers Segway tours, discovery classes, and 3 "gites" to rent, among other things. He clearly goes the extra mile for his customers. If you’re in the area, don’t hesitate to stop by and say hi to Jean-Michel.
