La Maison Aux Bonsaïs

We arrived to find the fridge and pantry stocked, and the owner made us feel very welcome. The apartment is spacious and well furnished in a beautiful village. The owner’s son met us at the gate of the walled village and showed us to the house. The lanes are very narrow, but there’s parking nearby. Highly recommended.

We were delighted to find the fridge and pantry full of treats and essentials, so we could settle in without rushing out for supplies. Freshly baked croissants greeted us each morning, and Michael and Luc had generously left a complimentary bottle of wine that made the evenings even nicer. Our hosts, Michael and Luc, were attentive and welcoming, taking care of even the smallest details. The elegant yet cozy décor felt like a classic French home, with modern conveniences. From the moment we arrived in Saint Paul de Vence, the town felt special, and this accommodation made the trip memorable. It was the highlight of our journey, an authentic, warm experience. Merci beaucoup, Michael and Luc, for such lovely hospitality. We can’t wait to return.

The rooms are charming and comfortable, with everything you might need already there, right down to a luggage scale and a stocked refrigerator with water, wine, eggs, ham, and cheese. The owner goes out of his way to make you feel at ease, even taking you on a walking tour to point out shops and places to eat, including where not to eat. You feel like family. Just a lovely family, and a special pup.

Luc is still THE VERY BEST. He’s a gentle, kind, generous man who goes well beyond what we’ve experienced at any other accommodation. We’ve stayed here twice and would go back tomorrow if we could. The place is beautiful and so luxurious you could happily stay forever. Luc, we miss you already. Perfect location, perfect host.
