The staff and restaurant are what make this place stand out. Everyone was friendly and service minded, always greeting us with a smile. Lunch and dinner were excellent, with efficient service and dishes that looked lovely and tasted great. Breakfast was adequate, though nothing special. The rooms are spacious, with large comfortable beds, and the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable throughout. Soundproofing could be limited for some. The building is simple but well kept and clean, just two minutes from the beach. The ground floor and restaurant are wheelchair accessible, though there's no lift. I'd definitely stay again.

The lobby feels very welcoming, and our room was spacious. We stayed for over a week, and the staff made the place feel like home. They're friendly and adaptable. Set in St Gilles, the hotel is quiet and relaxing around the pool and greenery. Breakfast was good and complete, with eggs made to order, and the restaurant was great.

Just reviewing the restaurant. While on holiday in Réunion, we came across Le Grand Bleu. We sat by the pool with a bottle of Macon Chardonnay, which was delicious, and shared a really tasty burrata salad appetizer.

The food at dinner was terrible, which made it clear this wasn't some hidden camera joke. I've never seen so many incompetent people in one place. We booked a night recently, and the whole experience was unbelievable. Strongly recommend avoiding it.

Three Australians had a wonderful Christmas lunch here. The food was great, and the service was terrific. The staff were fabulous, personable and professional, a credit to themselves and the hotel. Well done, and thank you for such a great day 😊
