The owner made this stay worth five stars. We were five friends with nowhere to sleep, and when we called at 8:30 P.M. from two hours away, he said we could come and waited at the hotel for us. He was incredibly helpful and kind when we arrived. You can tell he really cares about his work. The rooms are a little dated, but fine and functional. The hotel usually caters to large groups.

The rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly enough, but the hotel is a long way from anything. The online photos don't show it accurately, and although the food was edible, it wasn't worth what they charged. This was our third choice, and I wouldn't recommend staying here or come back.

The staff are really friendly, and the price is just right. There's a restaurant with great food, too. This is a lovely tucked-away historic hotel, and it seems like a great place for weddings, meetings, and other events.

The hotel itself was mediocre, though the staff were great.

A horrible hotel, and expensive too.
