Our weekend in the Gypsy Wagon was so much fun, and the whole property felt clean and welcoming. We arrived late because of an airline delay, but they stayed up to greet us and had food and local wine available to buy since most places were closed. If you’re into birdwatching, this is the place to stay, literally next door to the Ornithological Park of Pont de Gau. AMAZING! You have to stay at Logis Hôtel le Nid du Pont de Gau!!!

We only stopped in for food and drinks, we didn’t stay here. The staff were really friendly and made us feel welcome. Good location, a tasty milkshake and lovely draft beer. The toilets were excellent and very clean. The only letdown was the 10 euro pizza. We watched them take one from the freezer and unwrap it, and it arrived undercooked and still not hot in the middle.

I had such a wonderful few nights here in October and November. I stayed in the gypsy caravan, which was great, and loved having everything I needed in one clean, fun hotel in a convenient spot. The owners were kind, efficient and full of useful information. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

A great base for exploring the area, just a few minutes by car from Saintes Marie de la mer. It’s next to the Ornithological park and opposite a nice riding school. The room was clean and pleasant, with outdoor space and parking for guests. The owner was very kind. Recommended!
