We stayed for three nights in a lovely room in a very pretty old house, right in the city center. It’s ideal for exploring Saintes and the surrounding area, and I’d happily come again. The welcome was very warm, and breakfast on the terrace was perfect, with homemade jam, different breads each day, fruit, and more.
