The staff were friendly, the rooms clean, and the location great. I skipped breakfast because the selection wasn’t very extensive, though there was enough to get the day started.

The hotel is clean and good value, a little outside Saintes’ tourist center. It makes an ideal stop on the way to Spain, for example. And while you’re there, be sure to visit this beautiful city.

Oh myyyyyy, what a terrible experience. I’d rather sleep in the forest than go back there. I still have a memorable souvenir from that place, French bedbugs. This building should be closed. It’s trash, unsafe, disgusting, and absolutely tragic.

We were travelling from Barcelona to Brest and stayed for just one night. The room was small and smelled old, and the WC with shower was so cramped we could barely fit. Then at night we found at least three cockroaches in the room. At reception there had been a little “WANTED” paper with a cockroach picture and some text in French, which we hadn’t paid attention to. It was awful. I couldn’t rest at all, and I paid 48€ for that room. I’m giving one star for two reasons: I can’t give zero, and the breakfast was good.
