Dominique made sure we had a lovely Christmas, even with the dreadful weather. There were seven of us, five adults and two teenagers, and he greeted us warmly and did everything he could to make us happy. He treated us to champagne, local beer, chocolates, farm milk that was excellent, and a lovely wood fire. The teenagers got to feed the cows, and both tried milking one by hand. The youngest, who was 13, was delighted. Two cows also calved while we were there, so they got to see two calves that were just a day old. Wonderful memories from a place we’ll remember and share. Thank you, Dominique. Philippe

The kids can connect with nature and animals here, in a pleasant cottage on a farm about 20 minutes from the coast. The host was very welcoming.

We booked the gîte on Booking for 80 euros a night. More than a month later, we were told the price would go up to 180 euros and that a one-night stay wasn’t profitable. We complained to Booking and the owner, and then our reservation was abruptly cancelled. To top it off, the owner accused us of being profiteers. What a disgrace!

The cows are very friendly, too! It’s a lovely, comfortable cottage in a beautiful spot, with a welcoming owner. If you enjoy the region, nature, and peace and quiet, this rental is for you.

A real change of scenery in this superb cottage, surrounded by nature and close to the coast.
