We loved staying here, and would definitely recommend it.

The welcome was perfect, and the rooms were clean. We especially enjoyed hearing Jean-Marie's explanations. He's a real history enthusiast, a walking encyclopedia! After a day visiting the Loire Valley châteaux, it was lovely to come back to the peace of the lakes nearby. The garden and pergola were nice too. It's a great base, and booking directly is very affordable. We'll definitely return to this inn.

Once we'd talked things through, the owner turned out to be very friendly, and the place itself is charming. We did have a somewhat rough start because of a misunderstanding. The rooms were spacious, the beds were good, and cleanliness overall was quite satisfactory.

The person who answered the phone gave us an unacceptable reception. When we said we wanted to use a Smartbox, he replied, "I'm not interested in that sort of thing!" Sir, you should unsubscribe from the website. Outrageous!

The hotel is cosy, though a bit chaotic. The owner was super sweet, and the pool was wonderful. We had a very pleasant stay. Highly recommended!
