Breakfast outside was delicious, and everything was homemade. We had a lovely stay in the charming caravan, surrounded by a peaceful, countryside setting. The hostess was very friendly.

The setting was quiet and rural, with the caravan at the edge of a small farming village after a drive over a little mountain pass from just beyond Dijon Sud. The grounds are gated and enclosed. Our hostess welcomed us warmly and showed us the caravan, the bathroom, and where breakfast would be. The dog and kids took to it right away. There’s a swing beside the caravan, plus a playground and soccer field just behind the grounds. The caravan feels small but cozy and inviting. The smaller beds seemed fine for children up to 12, despite what I’d read in some reviews. There are a few outlets and a kettle, though tea or instant coffee would have been nice after our long drive. We brought our own food and drinks, and passed a McDonald's on the way. There wasn’t a garbage bag, which was a pity. The bathroom is in the hostess’ farmhouse, with an outside entrance that’s screened off. It has a shower, sink, toilet, and plenty of towels. The path is lit at night. We had breakfast at 8:30 after a cozy night. It tasted great, and the hostess had made much of it herself: bread, yogurt, jam, apple juice, and apple cake. Our picky kids weren’t keen, but we enjoyed it. We did miss some usual options, like plates, an egg, croissants, chocolate spread, and other toppings. We paid 130 euros, which felt expensive for what was included. Breakfast could use a little attention, but we still found this a pleasant, unusual stay and really enjoyed it. Before leaving at 10:00, we took the dog for a walk and found an old cemetery just outside the grounds. It was interesting and a little exciting.

We make this our yearly stop on the way to the south of France. The welcome is always warm, everything is very tidy, and breakfast is delicious, with homemade bread, cake, and jam, plus apple juice. Highly recommended.

The children would enjoy this getaway, especially the pony rides. We had a peaceful, pleasant stay, were warmly welcomed, and thought the breakfast items were excellent.
