We stayed at Domaine du Moment for a night on the way through, and it would be just as nice for a full week of relaxing. You’ll need a car to explore the lovely French countryside, but there’s plenty to see and do nearby, and Nathalie and PP know good places to eat and visit. The house is a beautiful listed building in quiet Soupex. Each room has its own feel, all tastefully done and clean, with a perfect bed and shower. The garden is lovely too, with a big pool, and the WiFi works well.

The pool was a lovely spot to cool off among the greenery, and the hills around Lauragais, views of the Pyrenees, and nearby Canal du Midi made for a peaceful setting. With tips from Nathalie and Pepe, we found lovely walks, villages, and restaurants. They were warm and helpful hosts throughout. Domaine du Moment in Soupex has a personal feel, with carefully put together retro-chic decor and a quiet garden. We had a relaxing stay and would happily come back.

Soupex still has an authentic French feel, with sunflower fields all around. We loved the big private garden and the pool, a cool place to retreat to. The room was lovely, with its own bathroom and a large tub. The owners were so friendly and welcoming, and everything was looked after impeccably. We had a wonderful stay, a real oasis.

We spent our time relaxing by the spacious pool and heading out on lovely excursions from this peaceful estate. The carefully chosen decor and calm atmosphere did us good, and we were pleased with everything the place offered. Nathalie and Pépé gave us such a warm welcome in their beautiful French home.
