Montboulard

Everyone in the family loved it. It felt like a comfy home, with great views.

We only stayed one night while heading south, but would happily return for a longer visit. The domaine is beautiful, with a lovely pool, and the spacious rooms have everything you need. Our host was friendly and welcoming, and there's a large supermarket just a few minutes away by car. Thank you!

The only small drawback was that it was a bit dusty. We still had a great stay. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the place is beautiful, and the rooms and bathroom were a good size. The large pool looked very inviting. Breakfast each morning came with fresh pastries, two kinds of bread and a toaster, fresh fruit, yogurt with nuts and seeds, orange juice, and plenty of coffee. You could also cook your own eggs.

We stayed in the large gite, which suited us perfectly for working remotely, being near family and caring for our new puppy. We liked the huge sofa in the lounge, and the puppy loved sitting on the ancient stone window sills. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom and shower were high spec, and having an unlimited supply of wood for the stove was a lovely extra. We had such a fantastic stay that we extended by two weeks. We'd probably still be there if lockdown hadn't meant we needed to travel home. Marc and John were wonderful hosts, always ready to help or answer questions. It's in a fantastic spot, with forest right on the doorstep and supermarkets and other shops only a few minutes away.
