The breakfast was really good, and the rural setting is lovely while still being close to the city. Thank you.

The family room felt more like an apartment, and the kids loved having toys in their room. It was very clean, too. La Marchanderie feels so homey to me. The owners have done a lovely job turning the old barn into beautiful rooms, and the breakfast with all its fresh produce was a treat. Since Spay is only a short drive from le Mans, they'll have us back whenever we stop there.

The stairs are steep, so you'll need to be steady on your feet to climb them. Still, it's a beautiful, cosy place with everything you need for a stay.

Superb little gem. I'll definitely come back if I'm driving through France again. Absolutely outstanding.
