Walking to the Zenith after the concert was easy, and much better than dealing with traffic by car. Our room was clean and warm, and the staff were friendly. But breakfast was a mess. We arrived at 9:40, well within the stated 8-10:30 hours, and there was almost nothing left: no bread, pastries, eggs or Nutella, and only a few tiny pieces of bacon. We made do with what we could find, had coffee, then waited about 20 minutes. A few egg portions and some pastries finally came out. Finding a seat was hard too, since the tables weren't being cleared quickly enough. At reception we were told they hadn't expected so many people for breakfast. I don't find that acceptable when the hotel knows which rooms booked breakfast and how many guests are staying. Other reviews suggest they have had concert crowds before, too. We got an €18 refund for one of our two breakfasts, though we hadn't eaten anything close to that value. I wouldn't add breakfast next time. I expected more professionalism from a four-star hotel.

The room had no comfort or charm, and cleanliness was a real problem. Dust was everywhere, and both the room carpet and the heavily stained corridor carpet looked filthy and neglected. A strong perfume smell mixed with the odor from the dirty carpet made the room unpleasant. The bathroom door was transparent glass, so there was no privacy. The hotel is also badly located, far from everything. I wouldn't recommend it.

The tram is very close, and I think it's about a 15-minute ride into the city center. Underground parking costs €10, and I'd recommend it. The hotel itself was good, but for the price I think they could leave at least two coffee capsules in the room. The hallway carpet is old and stained, more like what I'd expect at a three-star place. There's a water dispenser in the hall, which I used because the bottle in my room smelled strange. The bar coffee wasn't great either. Book ahead if you want a good price.

There was no fridge in the room, and it wasn't clean. Small hairs were all over the sheets 🤮. The place also didn't look like the photos we booked from. Breakfast cost €18 per adult but was extremely poor, hardly anything to eat, and nowhere near worth that price. I wouldn't stay here again.

Getting in and out was incredibly easy. Reception took less than a minute, including directions to parking, our room and the tram, and checkout was just as smooth. We barely needed to speak with staff during our one-night visit for Strasbourg's Christmas Market. The hotel is beside the tram line, about 15 minutes from the market area. Our room was fairly small but nicely equipped, with a large bed that was as comfortable as any we've slept in in Europe. There was only a duvet, so bring a lighter blanket if you prefer one. The bathroom was huge, though the shower felt a bit tight. Towels were soft and clean, and everything worked. The wall-mounted hair dryer with a hose was a funny old-fashioned touch, but it worked well in an otherwise modern room. The windows opened, and the thermostat suggested there was air conditioning, though we didn't test it. We'd come back. For more than a couple nights, I'd probably look for a larger room, but this one was fine.
