The hostel was comfortable overall, with a great atmosphere. My bed in the 6-bed dormitory was comfy, and the room had plenty of space. It was within walking distance of some public transport and the Christmas markets. A few things could be better: another trash bin in the room besides the one in the restroom, and blinds or curtains for the bunk beds. The internet was a bit unstable, though that didn't really bother me since I had mobile data.

The location is awesome, and the place felt very safe. I’d give it 4.5 stars if I could. A kitchen would have been useful, since there was a restaurant and bar but no way I could find to cook something ourselves. There was loud music after quiet hours were meant to start, and some groups were very loud and inconsiderate. I know that may be outside the hostel’s control, so it didn’t affect my rating.

The breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were nice and clean. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. It’s an easy walk to the Christmas market, and I loved staying here. I’ll keep it on my list for next time I’m back.

I wouldn’t recommend this hostel because of the security risk. There are no private lockers in the shared rooms, and when you store luggage, they give you keys that let you access all the stored bags. That makes it possible for someone to steal from you. Security here is very poor.

We booked a suite family room for four. It was spacious, clean, and new. Having private parking would have been preferable.
