Hotel des Arts

The location is hard to fault: between the river and the Cathedral, with museums and restaurants all around. The young woman at reception moved me to a first-floor room so I wouldn't have to manage too many stairs. It was clean, nicely decorated, and well equipped, with a small modern en suite. Breakfast was basic, but good value for the location.

The location was good. Everything else was a disaster. The beds were small and uncomfortable, and neither the telephone nor the hair dryer worked.

We spent three nights in a double room with twin beds, and the stay was excellent. The employees were kind and helped with everything we needed, and the room was cleaned daily. It's a beautiful, convenient central location, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable, with renovated bathrooms. The hair dryer was burned out and wouldn't work, and breakfast seemed too expensive, so we didn't take it. Still, this deserves more than a two-star rating, in my view. I'd definitely visit again.

A cozy little hotel with round-the-clock reception. The room was clean and had what we needed for a short stay. The cathedral is just a few meters away, there are restaurants everywhere around, and public transport is only a few minutes from the hotel.
