Hotel Patricia

The hotel is very basic, but the room was clean and the neighborhood quiet. You're only a minute from the center of town. There wasn't really any service, so I gave it a 2 for that. You check yourself in and out, though the information the hotel sent worked perfectly. All in all, a good stay.

The best part is how close it is to everything in the center. Our room was on the top floor, so the stairs were a bit of a hike each time, but that's part of the charm of the old building. The basics were simple, including the bed frame, wallpaper, and ceiling and floors, though the toilet had been renovated. The bedspread looked like one from a motel, but the bed itself was surprisingly comfy, soft and springy. The heating was strong and warmed our room for three within ten minutes.

It's right in the center of Strasbourg but very quiet. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. At 60€ a night in September low season, it's a great option for budget travelers. Just remember there's no elevator, so getting luggage up to your room can be tough. Free luggage storage after checkout is a big plus.

The rooms were comfortable and very clean, with modern bathroom fixtures, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The building dates from the 16th century and has kept its old feel while being renovated to today's comfort standards. The location is central and well connected by public transport, though you can walk everywhere if you don't have luggage. I'd stay here again if I visit the area.
