ibis Styles Strasbourg Avenue du Rhin

The green tram stops right outside, which made getting around easy even though the ibis Styles is a little outside the city. It was spotlessly clean, and the friendly staff made my few days there pleasant, especially as I was travelling alone. Breakfast had lots of choice and was delicious, so I was set up well for each day. I really enjoyed my time in Strasbourg.

Getting around was easy thanks to the good public transport links, and the hotel is good value. Staff were generally very nice and spoke good English. Free drinking water and tea were available, and I found dinner pleasant with enough variety. Breakfast, though, was the same every day and had no vegetables, which didn't seem very healthy to me. When food is being cooked or served, the smell spreads through the common areas, even the top-floor hallways, and can be unpleasant. Parking is quite pricey at 15 euros a day, and pets cost an extra 25 euros per night, which is a lot.

The staff were fantastic and even helped me out after I made a mistake with my booking. My room was in excellent condition, and the hotel is a minute from the tram stop and close to the motorway. I'd happily recommend it. For an Ibis Styles, it really punches above its weight.

The hotel had a good overall feel, and it was convenient for getting around. The Cathedral is about a 10-minute drive away, and there are parking spaces just outside the main entrance. Service was good too, and breakfast was quite delicious.
