Mercure Strasbourg Palais des Congres

The room was spacious and the bed comfortable, and I enjoyed having the small fitness studio overlooking the pool and the sauna to myself. The hotel is okay, but it feels old, and a lot of things look like they should have been replaced some time ago. The pool and changing rooms also seem dated, though not many Strasbourg hotels have those facilities. Breakfast moved to a different space each day. The selection didn't impress me, but it was decent. I liked that they encourage towel reuse, but found plastic cups in the bathroom inconsistent with that. The restaurant was a bigger disappointment: my burger on the first night was the worst I've ever had, and my colleagues weren't happy with their meals either. I'd probably skip eating there.

The pool was warm and the staff friendly, and the tram is conveniently close. The Christmas market rate was cheaper, but next time I'd pay more for a nicer hotel. The room was really old, with a worn carpet, hard beds, and overly soft pillows. We could hear every door closing around us, so it was hard to sleep or relax. The larger bathroom had seen better days too. Breakfast was expensive, not good, and too small for the number of guests. The coffee was disgusting.

The staff were polite and helpful, and that's the only good thing I can say about the stay. The rooms need renovating. Breakfast had very few fresh vegetables, and I didn't see any fish. The menu needs changes because it was too fatty. Still, I wish you luck in the future! I like your brand, especially in Poland.

A quiet hotel in a very good area, with spacious rooms, a good double bed, and a big-screen TV. The outside parking is free and fairly large. The tram is only a two-minute walk away, and takes 10-15 minutes to reach the center. It's also not far from the European parlament. Breakfast was fine, pretty standard.
