Le Cottage Bise

The conference rooms were in an amazing 11th century priory, a couple of minutes’ walk from the main hotel, and they suited our needs perfectly. My room was excellent, very clean, with a lovely lake view and a comfortable bed. It had robes, slippers and tasteful toiletries in the bathroom. The pool looked so inviting that I wish I’d had time to swim, though I only managed to dip a hand in. We had a stunning three-day work meeting at Le Cottage Bise, and I wish I could’ve stayed longer. Service was impeccable from beginning to end, and the food was outstanding. The hotel team served perfect steak to 67 people at once, which was remarkable, and handled the group’s different dietary needs very well at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Highly recommended!

On a whim, we booked two nights and weren’t disappointed. The food was delicious and memorable, and the service was excellent. The room was clean too, and the location is unbeatable. We’ll be back! ❤️

Parking was nowhere to be found when we arrived, but a friendly young staff member greeted us and kindly parked the car. Lunch was exceptional, with delicious food and professional service. Such a stunning dining experience in a magnificent setting. We absolutely loved it and would definitely return.

The food was horrible, badly cooked and flavorless, and it took forever to arrive. The waiters were really unfriendly. Not worth the money. The room was kind of okay, neither great nor bad, but there was no kettle, which was a real downside. The bathroom had no ventilation and smelled a bit. The pool was closed when we came, which was a real bummer.
