Aline made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived at reception. She was cheerful, knew the area well, and was happy to help throughout our stay. We found the room compact but well arranged, and the shower was excellent. The location worked well for both the town centre and a visit to the cave paintings. We’d happily return. We had a really comfortable stay in a quiet, cozy place tucked beside the mountains. The hosts were accommodating, and the rooms were spacious. Breakfast was amazing, and it was fun looking through the antiques around the house. Some are available to buy for a small fee. The town is close by, with a river running through it and good places to eat if you don't want dinner at the B&B. Dinner fills up quickly and service ends on time, so book ahead and don't arrive late. We’d definitely stay again and recommend it.

We only stopped because we liked the building's architecture while driving past, and were glad we did. The staff talked through our needs and met them, including my need for oxygen around the clock because I’m disabled. Our room was warm, spotless, and comfortable, with a kettle, good toiletries, feather pillows, and a nice bed. The 19th-century hotel has a quirky character, from its original floor to the unusual decor. There’s vintage bric-a-brac alongside cosmetics and jewellery for sale. The restaurant was busy on Tuesday, but the staff were attentive and the four-course dinner was delicious and great value at 29€. Breakfast the next morning was continental, and the manageress/owner took good care of us, bringing water for our tea and tidying up. Everything went smoothly, and I’d go back tomorrow if I could.
