Hotel du Centre

When another hotel canceled our booking, we called at 6pm on a Friday with five people and Cecile had a family room available. It was spotless, the shower was good, and breakfast was one of the best I’ve had. She made us feel welcome and recommended a good pizzeria for dinner. I’d go back just for the homemade jams and local cheeses at breakfast.

We chose Hotel Du Centre on the spur of the moment while visiting the center of Tende, since we hadn’t booked anywhere ahead. Madame was very helpful even though my French is limited, and our room was clean and pleasant. Staying centrally let us enjoy what Tende had to offer. This isn’t five-star comfort like you’d find in Monaco. But if you spend your trip getting to know the local culture, it’s a very nice place to rest your head.

Cecile is so friendly, and the breakfast was the best ever. We had a fantastic night in the Family room.

The proprietor gave us a lovely warm welcome during our bike tour of the region. Our room was spacious, and breakfast was delicious and filling. The location is central, right by a grocery store, bakery, and bar. Thank you!
