The reception staff were courteous and welcoming, though maybe I was just lucky that time. The hotel is overrated. The only art aspect is in the reception hall, while the room is dated and worn out. The air conditioning barely works and doesn’t keep the room cool. There’s nowhere to hang clothes or lay out an open suitcase, and the shower head is in an odd position. The window is tiny, so don’t expect much of a view. I immediately regretted booking multiple days. We’ll see whether it gets better or worse.

Our room was compact, but had everything we needed and was comfortable and functional. Breakfast was fresh, varied, and made with quality ingredients, though it would have been better if the hot dishes had been warmer. The central location was an excellent fit for our visit. The staff were so friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. They made us feel at ease and were generous with their time, always ready to help with questions or requests. We were thoroughly impressed with the service and the stay, and would recommend Hotel Des Beaux Arts. We look forward to returning.

Friendly staff provided excellent service, and the little boutique hotel has rooms with unique art styling. Highly recommend.

The lobby is lovely and updated, and the location is extremely central, with everything walkable. I wanted to love this hotel, but the rooms were disappointing. They look nice, but the linens are scratchy and the pillows feel like lumpy socks in a bag. We slept terribly. You can also hear quite a bit of noise outside, so it’s not the place for you if you’re sensitive to noise.

We’ve stayed here many times, and finally had a room with its own private terrace. It was lovely to sit with a drink and enjoy the beautiful view of the Garonne and Pont Neuf. The hotel is close to Carmes, and the location really is the best of all the hotels in Toulouse, though it may be a little shabby around the edges. Breakfast is too expensive. Apart from that, we recommend it.
